One late night soon after Dianna’s passing on the 1st April 1996 I scribbled down my thoughts of what she had taught me during our 19 years together. The chord sequence I had been exploring at the time fitted my scribbled words perfectly. The simplest song I’ve ever written. A song, that was initially a “thanks!” to Dianna, grew into a song of gratefulness to all people who have had an influence in my life and guided me or led me astray through this maze of human existence and experiences on this planet.
A special Thank you to Jonny, Terrence, Julie and all who have participated, for giving this song such awesome energy.
The previous title is a thanks to Bob Dylan for the theme of the chorus line and new title and for being such a huge influence in my life.
