Woman is the first EP from Mmino in 2021. This offering tackles our countries severe issues around femecide and Gender Based Violence. A plead to all men to rise up and protect all women and children. Mmino prioritises these very difficult conversations in their music, as they feel that it’s important as artists to use this platform to bring about change. Woman also reminds us to reignite the sense of respect for our elders and ubuntu within society. This EP echos the deep need within today’s world for justice and advocacy. It also offers profound perspectives on accessing ancestral teachings as a way of restoring balance.
